Mass effect liara which planet
If you take a look at our map above, you'll see that the first fourth of the map or so is simply a drive. There are no items of interest, and no enemies to stand in your way. Enjoy this quiet time, though, because it's just about the only quiet time you'll experience on the rest of your journey through Therum.
As you get to the thicker part of the passageway leading back to the North-West, you'll see and hear a Geth ship fly in over your head. It will deposit some Geth Armatures that you'll have to deal with. Unless you're gunning for XP see below , stay in the Mako and use your missiles, supplemented with machine gun fire, to eliminate these enemies. They fire damaging electric charges at you, so what you can so is turn the Mako so that its side faces the Armatures, then move it back and forth to easily dodge the missiles.
If you can't move away, use the jump jets so that the charges sail right under you. If you're still unable to avoid being rocked by enemy projectiles, try to tuck the Mako into a corner against the mountains to eliminate most of the enemy target. And remember, if your Mako is getting destroyed, be sure to use some Omni-Gel to repair it before moving on.
If you're low, dissolve some of your Weapons , Armor and Mods to make some more. After the initial onslaught of enemies is destroyed, continue by driving North-West. It won't be long before you run into a Refinery overrun by Geth and guarded by three Turrets. Take them out if you really, really want to, but in any case you should look on your map to locate a detour in order to get into the Refinery. It is more cramped in here, bu there's only one Turret here to worry about.
Once you make it into the Refinery, you'll be dealing with a variety of mobile Geth units, several of which can fire rockets, so it's smartest to take them all out from afar before heading into the base camp. There's several explosive canisters placed around the area: shoot them for some easily kills! On the edges of the Refinery will be two gates, one to the East and the other to the North. Each will have two gatehouse buildings, and all but one will have a Geth soldier, while two will have a gate switch.
Lastly, you can also find two Crates behind the South wall. We actually recommended opening both gates for a simple reason. Destroying all of them will net you some more XP if you didn't earlier which is always in short supply , and you have better cover from inside the Refinery.
After destroying those turrets, you can then drive out of the bNorth Gate where, for a while anyway, things will be quiet. Aside from a few Armatures, your drive will be uneventful for a little bit more, until you get close to the first tunnel, which is guarded by several Geth Rocket Troopers, as well as a Collosus.
Otherwise, stay in the Mako. When you hit the tunnel, drive on through. It'll be all quiet in the tunnel, but when you reach the far end of it, you'll have to deal with even more enemies. Since the tunnel ends on high ground, much higher than the enemies below you, try to kill them from afar. As has always been the case in warfare, even futuristic warfare in a video game, the high ground gives you a distinct and inherent advantage.
The rest of the drive to the tunnel at the North-West end of the map is just about the same as the rest of the drive on this lengthy map. You'll meet more Geth Armatures, and in this open area Legendary Edition players can get in some fun cannon snipes if they use the turret camera and click L3 to zoom in! Thereafter, taking the final tunnel will lead to an all-new part of Therum -- the Ruins. You'll emerge from the initial map to find yourself approaching the Therum Ruins.
As soon as you reach the end of the tunnel, head on down the incline and do battle with the weak Geth waiting for you there.
Then, drive the Mako until you can't seem to drive it anymore. The rocks are blocking your path, so the Mako is no longer an option, but conveniently there's a hole big enough for you and your party to fit through.
Head on through the hole to continue. It's at this point, when you're on foot, that things start to get a little bit crazy. You'll be assaulted by enemy wave after enemy wave as you begin to head along the linear path towards the next section of the ruins. The Geth aren't necessarily difficult to defeat here, it's just that there's a lack of cover, and they have that aforementioned height advantage since they initially control the high ground.
But it's this deadly assault that's all together dwarfed by what occurs after it's quelled. The Knossos system is the top-right system in the cluster, and Therum is the second closest planet to the star in that system. Liara is also a romance option for both male and female Shepard , so be careful with the decisions you make if you want to go down that route with her. This mission is just one of many you receive after officially becoming a Spectre, and there will be different dialogue depending on the order you do these missions in.
If you complete the missions on Feros and Noveria before coming to see Liara, her dialogue will be very different than if you were to come to Therum first. Use the area to the left under the scaffolding to flank enemies. Proceed up the ramp and enter the structure. Move down the tunnel and engage the Geth that appear from below. Follow the walkway down and use the elevator.
When you reach the bottom take care of the Geth Assault Drones that appear then use the other elevator directly ahead. Drop down and approach the blue barrier, where an interactive cutscene with Liara will begin. After speaking to her turn around and follow the walkway to the area below, engaging more Geth enemies. Next, interact with the Mining Laser Controls, where , , and loudly destroys the barrier; at the back of this area inside some tents are Easy Decryption lockers. Move east towards the opening in the floor and interact with the console ahead to use a lift.
Turn around and approach Liara to start another interactive cutscene. After going up in the elevator a Krogan Battlemaster appears along with Geth bodyguards. Say "This ruin's coming down" to make the Krogan say a well-known phrase, then proceed to eliminate him and his companions. Finish the Geth off first using tech-powers, using Stasis if available on the Krogan to temporarily freeze him. After the battle you will escape the ruins and return to the Normandy, ending the quest and unlocking.
Search and Rescue Locate Dr. T'soni in the Artemis Tau cluster. You then have a debrief with your crew, and can optionally inform the Council of the mission.
