When is owings mills mall closing

We are thrilled to introduce Mill Station : a 21st century retail and restaurant destination that will breathe new life into the Owings Mills retail community, provide exciting new amenities and bring back much-needed character and refinement to this outdated shopping center. Gone are hundreds of thousands of feet of shuttered storefronts, empty escalators, and vacant spaces. In its place: the approximately ,square-foot Mill Station development will feature up to 30 retailers and restaurants in a modern, open layout with green space and a network of walkways connecting to existing office and retail space.

Headlining this dynamic new development is Costco, bringing to the area a much-needed ,square-foot warehouse club featuring a deli, bakery, food court, garden center, optical department, photo center and a gas station. The AMC Theater will soon be fully modernized to offer a state-of-the-art cinema experience. And this is just the beginning at Mill Station. Costco is on track to open later this year, with the remainder of the announced retailers anticipated to open throughout the first half of It was listed on the website "DeadMalls.

A few months later, the developer showed off a rendering of what the area was shaping up to be at the International Council of Shopping Centers convention in Las Vegas: a Main Street-style, retail and entertainment village with 16 building pads, ample parking and green space. But the redevelopment plans had been kept private for more than a year after debate over whether a Super Walmart would be located there.

Community members and other businesses in the area fought it, and Kimco nixed the prospects earlier this year, Jones Jr.
